    piano sheet music

i have played the piano for about 7 years. i hate the books i am supposed to learn out of and want to know where i can find sheet music for some of the songs by artists that are actually songs and not learning techniques. for example, the begining of the song "Roses" by outcast is only the piano and i like it. i have ot been able to find sheet music for it. or the song "Lady Madonna" by the beatles that also has some pretty cool piano in it.

annyone know where i can get music like this? or other music that isint just the piano but the whole song modded to it sounds like it on the piano?

You can get them off the net... amazon.com has stuff.

There are note-for-note transcriptions available too... say, you want to play something from Billy Joel, Elton John, the Beatles... whatever... note-for-note from their recordings and not some different arrangement. Although, for strictly playing the piano - minus the rest of the band and the singing - this isn't necessarily better.

You can get songbooks that are really good. I have several versions of the same song, different arrangements - some are way better than others.

Also note that... some songs just don't translate well to the piano.

        try www.8notes.com and www.freesheetmusic.net

There's a ton to sift through, but oyu may be able to find something. Also, try music supply stores, they usually have that kinda stuff there.
