Second, you could always install TS client from their website and run it seperately from BF2 and just log into one of the many free servers...

Third, there is a program called Ventrillio (sp?) that is also free and work same as TS but different company/server.

Use Skype...voice quality is a LOT better than Teamspeak. With Skype, you can conference call up to 5 people. My friends and I switched from Teamspeak to Skype and never looked back. Voice quality is just as good as a phone call.

If you're stuck with dial up, I'm not sure how good it'll be though. You can get Skype at http://www.skype.com/

me and the majority of the AO bf2 clan have been using teamspeak with great sucsess. but like the previous guys have said, you can use another program. plus you can configure teamspeak to just work without haveing to hit a button.

but i love your laws of BF2, very funny and verry true.

yeah i always use ventrilo for counter strike. Its awesome and you can have a lot of people in it too.
