Football season is upon us. Of course that means I went and bought a couple of cases of "local" beer .(ie Yuengling and Penn Dark) so that I could make a dandy beer wentch for the signifigant other and his buddies.. Only thing it I am already bored or popping the tops of those two beers... So anyone wanna trade bottle for bottle of your "local" stuff...
figured this could be fun, kinda like a cookie exchange that all the domestic goddess' do..

Just imagine, watching the game having your chickey come in with a nice cold beer, and hey it's different then anything you have ever tried before...look at the label, and think to yourself "since when do they make REAL beer in Utah??? lol

Maybe the trick is to modify it for next years IAO - everyone bring a couple (read about a dozen) six packs of your local brews?

Where I use to work I would travel a bunch. I use to love going to different cities and try a locally brewed (but not micro brewed) beer. I have tried some good beers and some real crappy beers over the years.

You get Steeler beer, our hometown stuff. Actually, Muz never got a chance to have any the couple year i brought some for him... BAD MUZ BAD!

How Ironic is it that Iron City and Steeler beer sound like an even exchange. I mean.... its a beer for the team going to the Super Bowl!! one for the thumb baby!!

Hmm, Ya know, Maybe we should do this for AO canada. I think everyone that is driving has to bring a case of local beer and we'll trade some bottles and what we don't drink up there gets split between everyone to take home.

I like this idea much better than the keg idea.
