wow. this is just really sad.
I feel inclined to donate some money, but i really dont have any money to donate.

its really nice that the government is helping get people out of there, but are they required to? after all, they all had a warning, and were told to evacuate. i'm kinda surprised how many people didn't take the warning. i guess nobody thought it was going to be this bad.

looting in a situation like this is common, it would happen anywhere with no authority.

my dad was telling me the same thing happened when chicago was burning.
who ever said "its not whether you win or lose..." probably lost.

Umm, I assume you don't mean the Great Chicago Fire, so if you are talking about the fires that were set during the race riots, those were started after people were already killing eachother and looting businesses. This is much like the LA Riots.

Now, I am not sure what I would do in a situation like this, but I damn sure not going to shoot at the helicopter that is there to rescue me.

I don't blame people one bit for looting the necessities (food, water, medial supplies, blankets, clothing, etc.) But to loot someones house and take their TV, I mean come on, where the hell you going to put it? I also think that if you are caught looting by the owner and he shoots you, so be it. But, if you shoot your sister in the head over a bag of ice, you need to be shocked until you are dead.
