That's Criss Angel. He's a street magician, and he has a show coming to TLC I think. He does some crazy stuff, in this one he is levitating. High.

        Wrong?

He uses a 45* Angle trick, and so does this guy.

They also probably butcher it in editing.

Ok i yahoo'd the 45* angle trick and what i read it said that it can only accomplish a few inches of "levitation" so this guy has to use string/wire or something...to bad it isnt real.

this has some good info to.

There's no way he's using the 45* trick, quik. Look how high he is going. He makes David Blaine look like a 9 year old with a magic set as far as levitating goes.

some of those were like in the middle of a street with nothing above him ... if there was a crane above him it woulda been to obvious, and the pople around wouldnt have had the reaction they did ... how did u think he did them? a wire would seem to easy to catch ...

It's fake. I found it. He is using some sort of lines.

Before he levitates... you can see a sort of tension in his legs. When he goes up.. his legs stay rigid but they rotate at his hips the same direction every time. There's something pulling him up, from the back of his foot / his heel.

Everytime he goes up his legs rotate back a bit and then wobble because he's trying to compensate and already is working hard not to bend his knees.

also notice how he is so steady when he descends... he's like 2-3 feet high. Why is he being so cautious descending. Because - the wires/string are descending and they must do so slowly so he can retain balance. If he were actually levitating he could just stop and freefall... who can't fall 3 feet and land? Someone balancing his weight on strings.
