    Lovely Rita

Hey guys, long time no see, eh? I've had a lot of time on my hands in the past 24 hours, since school has been cancelled till monday. Why you ask? For RITA!!

Traffic was backed up for hours.

Hardly anybody was going east bound

    Hardly anybody.

This one was taken by my brother; this was inside of 610 going westbound. Nobody was in the right 2 lanes because those are the exits for 610

A very common sign around town.

My family and I plan on riding this one out, and I will certainly be taking a lot more photos tomorrow, when she arrives saturday morning, and the aftermath.

i dunno where you get your logic that it's an even remotely good idea to wait it out. look at all the geniuses in NO that said they were just gonna wait it out.... I bet they wish they could go back and get out. They should've thought twice. Why don't you think ONCE?

What does it matter what they teach here, it's what we all saw live on TV as everyone's day got ruined because they were too hardcore to listen and GTFO.

Why wouldn't you just take a day to get away just for the best? Seriously.

Seriously speaking, it's much safer to stay in town now. They even contraflowed the interstates and theyre still gridlocked. The worst possible place to be during the storm would be on the freeway stuck in a car.

Well that much is true. I saw the pictures of the traffic leaving some areas and people are getting out of their cars to shop.

To be fair, there has always been a decent number of retards.

                      Stay safe.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

I live down in League City not too far from the water. Hopefully my house will still be there when I get back this next week.

                            And again

Many people, including myself, parked their cars on the higher floors of a parking garage at the mall just incase flooding did occur. Here are a few shots of the cars.

There is my brother riding down the ramp lined with cars

This street is a few blocks from my house, and is usually packed with cars

And another a few more blocks away, with my bro again.

With the increase in wind, much debris (pine needles haha) have fallen into the street

                            Contuned on next post....
