Where do you live exactly? I'm about 10 miles north of Kingwood, if you know where that is. Kingwood is north of Houston City. We're staying home as well.

West Houston inside the beltway, Memorial to be exact, if you know were that is. I know where kingwood is, and ya'll are pretty far from the coast but still closer east. Did ya'll board up or anything?

Nah, no boards left in the stores. My dad got the bright idea of taping the windows to keep em from shattering at least.

The pre-hurricane winds are gonna be fun.

EDIT: I see you've beat us to the grocery store. ( )

Haha yeah its looking pretty dark outside, but it has yet to rain. We didnt board up or even tape the windows but alot of the businesses around the area have done that. Some jerkoff (cough the city) had the bright idea of cutting up part of my street and to fill it with sand.. We shall see how long that lasts.

Basically. Part of my fence in the back blew over but that thing is 30 years old. Alot of pine needles and small branches. One tree a few blocks away fell down but thats about it.

Today around noon, me and my dad and my bro went up to college station to give my sister a differnet bicycle. On the way up there the traffic on 290 was outrageous. There were convoys of state troopers stopping traffic with their lights on so they could get through. It was alot more windy up there than it was down here. We maybe got half an inch of rain last night, if that.
