Anyone know a way to send a voicemail message to a cell phone without the cell ringing first?
Its a verizon phone

I think the only way is to wait for them to turn off their phone, or them be away from the phone and you call(duh).

I know on our system (Alltel) if you're calling form another cell phone and dial the # key before the number

example: #777-777-7777

and then hit send... it will just go straight to voicemail. I dont think it works from landlines, I'm not sure.

With Nextel, there is a voicemail number that will get you to the mail system - ex: NPA-NXX-6245 = MAIL.

I was trying that last night.
Doesn't that only allow you to send to another nextel?
