Hey all,

I recently saw Serenity, great movie by the way. But I have a question that is driving me crazy, they use some type of stringed instrument in the movie, and my friend thinks it is a mandolin, but I wanted a second opinion. The sound can be found here:

The only stringed intrument in the background, like near the begining and towards the end, it has several semisolos.

I never heard the actual sound byte you psoted, but if it's the main theme song, It sounded like a violin and a banjo are playing at the same time, Im sure of it.
