Yes, make sure you get one that is pre-mixed, if you select one from the color chart that has to be mixed up, it probably won't look right. There's a premixed version in American Tradition, and there's one in Rustoleom. If you go with Rustoleom, make sure you get the latex one and not the oil though.

Thats an urban legend. There was an interview on tv not long ago with the woman who was painted, she said she had no idea how that rumor ever got started.

I don't want to have anything to do with a bunch of guys getting painted in latex. I'm not sure I really believe your whole thing about the cheerleaders either.

But anyway.

You can get 100% liquid latex from art supply stores, but I don't think that is what you want. It's a lot more like rubber cement than paint. I use it to make halloween masks and costume parts. Check costume supply/Halloween shops for body paint.

Liquid latex is in an ammonia base, and smells really strong as it dries. If you covered your body you would absorb a lot of ammonia and I'll bet that's not good. I wouldn't use latex paint from lowes for the same reason. Go watch that Mythbusters episode.

I have used artist acrylic paints which are expensive but they work for body painting. Since these paints can also be thinned and used in an airbrush, I bet it's closer to what the pros use when they paint live models. Go talk to the art people at your school, even if they are kind of freaky.
