yup, i'm not old enough to have driven those cars during their hayday, but i've ridden in them and i wish cars were made of steel, not plastic or what ever composite they are made of now.

A similar thing happened to me once, except I was in a sweet 1992 Toyota Previa. That's 4 cylinders of turbocharged power under the hood that the guys were up against. They followed me for a while, but stopped when I pulled into the police station.

i dirve the bimmer in the link, my friend who wants the carry permit (of which he is getting in florida) is getting his 1989 ford f250 with 6.9l diesel engine. if we had that the evo would be gone.

i talked to some people at school, apprently there is a vietnamese street racing gang in the bay area. also the guy looked pretty messed up it could've been drugs.

Ok.. and that Florida CCW permit will do what good in the bay area? There is no reciprocity agreement between Florida and California though there are between Florida and 27 other states.

The guy in the lancer was probably jealous that he was in his 20s driving a lancer and you have a BMW. Did you say your car runs at 2500 rpms? That doesn't sound right. You don't mean idling do you? Most cars idle at like 500-700rpms. I think you better have it looked at if its idling at 2500. Also, why would you downshift to a stop sign? Downshifting is useful sometimes, but it does after all put wear on your tranny. Brake pads are cheaper to replace than a tranny. Anyway, glad to hear everyone is safe. If you have a cell phone, I would have it ready if you take that route again in case your are harassed again. That is pretty cool that you have a BMW at 16. I plan on buying a 5 series next year when I turn 25. It will be my first one.

i dont think my 13 year old 6k car is anything compared to a nitrous injected evo honestly. thank you though.

my car runs about 700 rmp idlin. no im talking just driving around. it could be a little bit lower lower but there are a couple things wrong with it, first its really old and also its clutch is shot and i have to rev it up to get it going.

Finally, someone who understands that after a time they are just a car. I like kids who go out and by 15-20 year old BMWs just because there a bimmer and cool. I make a lot of money off them too.
