a few years ago i saw some kid with a chainsaw, minus the blade... it was quite funny watching him chase all the little kids around, since they really WERE scared, and the kid himself was only a year or two older. i dont think it was a haloween prop, i think he/his parents actually took the blade off a real chainsaw, since it was running and everything.

i generally go as something where i can just dress as i normally do and add a few accessories.
last year i was junpei from megatokyo.

I do that every year. In our town we have a cornmaze that I work for, so every year, I get to dress up as a Psycho and run around with a chainsaw that doesnt have a blade on it, it works really really well, I had one of the little spoiled brats from school that thinks hes all that get on the ground and beg for his life, it was the most pathetic thing ever...so I took a picture And posted it all around school.
