Well I broke my second slider, and I would like a nice phone. I really like Siemens camera sliders but they all support the GSM network (singular etc.), and verizon is CDMA... Well what phones do you guys have, or think is cool...

Not sure what you mean by slider but I've just got a samsung sch- n330 (not a camera phone though). I was also looking at the kyocera Kx2Originally posted by Echo419Well I broke my second slider, and I would like a nice phone. My experience so far with the samsung doesn't seem bad, will know more in a couple of months.
But kyoceras generally have a good user interface on them.
My previous phone was a kyoceraComment

i'v got an LG VX7000 camera phone. its pretty nice, and easy to change settings and access everything on the phone. you can get ringback, textmessaging, pic messaging, games, and i'm pretty sure internet.
plus it looks cool.
its not a slider phone though, its a flip phone.
and the camera on it actually has a pretty decent picture. has some zoom, you can rotate the camera eye, flip the image, play with white balance, save many pictures (i dont even know how many), and even record video.
you can even record your own ringtones.
its my first phone, so i can't really compare to others. but it seems all my friends are jelous.
i have verizon, the cell tower is like 4 miles away, but i'm in a dead zone at home. how lame.upgrade fund: $145

Yea, back home I had HORRIBLE reception at my house. But since moved for school I've had nothing but perfect reception anywhere I go.
Most of the time though your phone can make all the difference. Quadband/international phones may cost you extra but you'll get better reception overall. My dad has normal service wich Cingular I think it is, but has a really expensive phone where he will get reception places other people with the same service get none. (He is always travelling internationally and across the country for business so he needs a phone that will work all the time)Comment

Well, I got my 650 for, essentially, 70 bucks. But it was kind of a fluke. I bought a certain model phone off of ebay and tried to acitivate it at the local store. They refused to. I then called customer service and they activated it. After a day or two it stopped working so I called the data services number and they told me they had stopped supporting that phone and sent me a free treo 650, all I had to do was just send them the other phone. Worked out well for me, but I'm not sure if it'd work again.
You could try ebay for the 600 though.Comment
