I'll actually answer your poll, and your question: While Marx's concept of communism would work and it's a decent theory, it's application is nearly impossible. Human nature goes against it. However, Adam Smith's theory on economics has been proven via Hong Kong.

Personally I strongly believe in consumer driven economics.

ps - That equation is the basis of algebra, everyone else has answered appropriately.
