Anyone know how to find how much a model is worth?

I have a couple of old fire aparatus models that have never been put together. One is an american lafrance that is an original model from the 70's, all of the parts are still in the original plastic, but the box its self has no plastic on it. The other is a 1964 lindberg motorized fireboat, the box is open and there is no plastic around the parts, but all the parts are there and still on the trees. Anyone have a clue how much they might be worth, or where I could find out?

Well, seeing as they have to do with fire, I am sure they are worth a lot more thank you think to the right person. How to find out what they are worth is probably hard. You might be able to do a search on what other models by the same mfg from around the same time are going for. Or, put them on eBay with a reserve that is way more than you think they could be worth and see what the highest bid ends up being.

Unless you have something very rare they probably arent worth that much. You may still be able to get a few bucks for them though...

It is still pretty easy to find out-of-production kits on ebay. Even very old ones.

Like I said, it all depends on if there are still alot of them floating around.
