OK so I purchase tickets for the 26th of October from Minneapolis to Watertown, NY, so my woman could come spend time with me before I get deployed. For whatever reason, they were paper tickets instead of e tickets. So they fedexed tickets FOR THE 13TH OF OCTOBER WELL AFTER THE 13TH OF OCTOBER. Ok, alarm goes off in head somethings wrong. So call travelocity and spend a half hour with customer service just to find out to ignore the tickets and go to the airline check in counter and get tickets from them. So she goes there, and the airline says what the heck are you talking about were not giving you tickets. So I spend 2 and a half hours on the phone with travelocity and ATA customer service in a conference call, at which point ATA decided to bill her 50 dollars for losing the tickets, send her the next day with new tickets, and have Travelocity reimburse the lost ticket fee. Well Im just down right peeved. Ive got a rather limited amount of time to spend with her before I get shipped out. They stole a day from me. So I sleep on that, try to get over it. Next morning I call to make sure she got on the plane with no problems. Yipee. Then I get off work, and I find out she is on her way to Rhode Island, and she will be stranded for the night there because travelocity booked a flight that arrived in RI after the one she is supposed to leave on took off. WHAT THE FREAKING DIDDLY DOODLY NOT SWEARING RIGHT NOW. This is fantastic. I wouldve known about that if they wouldve sent me a confirmation email about the flight schedule, but they said they couldnt because they cant track the paper ticket flights electronically. Wow. So she is stranded in RI for the night. The airline that got there 2.5 hours late (mind you its still travelocitys fault because even if it had arrived on time it wouldve been impossible to make the connection) refuses to pay for a place to stay because they got her where they were supposed to, and the airline shes supposed to go on in the morning wont pay for a place to stay because its not their fault she was late. Travelocity says that I have to start a claim via email with their customer relations department and wait a while for the claim to be taken care of. YAAAAAAAAAAAY. I am going to demand a free caribbean cruise. This is completely unacceptable.

sorry to hear waht happened, and hope you get a very good payback. Untill then, go find a lawn knowm, and beat the hell outta it.Hard work never killed anybody...but why take a chance?
