Would you believe that there is an AO member who tried this same crap once? And would you believe that there are people who actually blame the buyers for not reading the description well enough?

while this type of stuff is surely illegal, I -do- blame the buyers for acting on impulse and NOT reading the auction completely. I can understand the ones that try and hide it, with white print on a white background, etc but on something as blatent like this -- same on them for not reading.

Yeah, its like women who wear skimpy clothes, they're just asking to get raped. And those idiots who leave valuables in view in their cars, they deserve to have they're windows smashed and their stuff taken.

While the victims certainly could be a bit more observant, never make the mistake of placing the blame anywhere other than where it belongs, with the scammer.

You know, its not really a scam. He is saying plain out that it is a picture. Although I do believe it is wrong, its the buyers fault for not reading.

don't you think comparing an internet auction with a blatent description and a woman getting raped is a bit EXTREME?

Does the title of the sale indicate that its a picture? Does anything other than the last line of the description seem to indicate that its a picture?

Thank you for contributing to America's moral decline.

For those of you who think this is "smart" by the seller - look at the title. The title is what you are selling, the description cannot counter that. "Oh he's so smart"... I hope he gets sued for misrepresentation, because regardless of description that may counter that, the title of the item offered for sale very clearly represents it as a marker / gun and not a picture.
