    Thanks Servicemen/women

    Well, since I work on a military base and everyone is yelling happy birthday and o-rah/horah I thought I was say thanks to our service people. Today is the marine corps birthday so happy birthday. Veterans day is tomorrow, so thank everyone for fighting for us. Have a happy-AND SAFE- weekend.

      Just finished the cake cutting here at my work with the rest of the Marines here. I think I scared most of my co-workers when I walked in with my NCO sword LOL ...

      Happy Birthday to the rest of my fellow Marines on the board; both former and current.

                                      It was a cavalry saber, authorized for wear along with a stetson and spurs at official cavalry functions. They just didnt appreciate that mine was a real saber, not a dull replica.

                                          Even still, I don't see that they had the right to take it from you. Especially if they didn't issue it to you. If they did, however, then I can understand.

                                              As far as I know, its EUSA policy that if you own a blade longer than 4 inches it is to be stored in the arms room. Mine was a little bit longer than that.

                                                  well my ball is tomorrow i love the ball a excuse to get all dressed up in my sexy uniform and show off my wife. its the only reason i joined the Marines is for the uniform and kickin some butt(had to edit what i want to say)

                                                      i hate dressing up and doing all the stupid ceremonies. at least i get some time off, and this year our b-day ball was in laughlin neveda at the Flamingo, so good gambling and drinking

                                                          Hoorah, semper fi! Keep up the good work guys. I'll be driving you guys to the fighting in a tin can in about 4 years. Yeah, gotta love the Navy. Can't wait to put those whites on... or the khakis... or the blues... or the blacks... or the BDU's... yeah, it's gonna be awesome. Now I just have to get through senior year, then college and NROTC. Can't wait!!!
