HELP! what can i do to reduce a fever

well. if i do make it another 3 days i would be a happy man (doctor said in about three days i should be down to 99-100 temp. which seem normal

Bronchideous huh? Sounds horrible. I hope everything works out. Hopefully it won't turn into bronchitis.

yeah, bronchitis blows. hopefully you won't get cronic bronchitis. i have that and it just blows.
it can be two things, either the broncial tubes getting enflamed, or the one i have, where my lungs fill up with mucus. couching burns, stabs, and just sucks. plus you can't do anything without coughing, like moving, sitting up, lying down, or just plain breathing.

well just got back from my 3 hour dr. visit.. they came up with alot

both ears are infected.
bronchideous
strep throat.
and possibly mono.(wont know for like 7 days)

all at once...*sigh* this oughta be fun

Umm... how are you still able to sit in front of a computer monitor and type this stuff? When I had either bronchitis and strep throat (though not at the same time) I could barely move.

actually i am on my laptop in bed.. yeah, getting out of bed might be tough right now. but i have a pretty crappy immune system.. i cant fight off anything. ive been a really bad ashtmatic since the age of 2.. i have to go all the way to mexico(from south dakota) every year to see a doctor for it

Really just constantly have a big Nalgene bottle of water in your hand. Maybe do some 1/2 juice and 1/2 7-Up glasses. That and a good swig of ol NyQuil to drop you in a sleepy coma with all the alcohol in it...

ok, im olny 15. both my rents are gone. i have never felt this misreable in my life.. i have been running a temp of 103-104 and i cant take it any more. already tryed a cold bath. sorta helped. i tryed all pain killers that say they reduce fevers. but there idiots. and i need to find a better way.. thanks guys

4 asprin every 4 hours probably does more harm than good, since your only supposed to take 8 a day.

Well did you have a hard time getting out of bed when you went to the Dr.? You go to Mexico for health care? Your just as close to Seattle and Colorado(SP) both have very advanced hospitals and great Dr's.

3.for one i got a shot that helps.. FAST. and a cold bath will take your temp down. most of those illneses dont raise much of a temp.(once again. shut up./ or get some info before you run your mouth )

and none of ths doctors helped me. ive been to alot of them in different places. and none helped. so i got recomended to there. and he gave me mediceine(i had it anylized) and it was ok. and its helped me ever since.(ONCE AGAIN. get info before running your mouth..
