Well I got my new toy last night;
17" PowerBook G4 ....
Big switch going from many years using WinBlow$ to OSX ... did it most because of the BSD backend on OSX, so I love the command line interface. Just going to have to get use to a new filesystem structure.
Coming from a Unix world which is what I have worked on for most of the past 6-7 years (Linux/Solaris/HP-UX) the command line portion of OSX is nice ... just need to get use to the user interface now.
Now any hard core Mac users here got a list of must have software that I should check out.
Also any recommended keyboards / mice? When its at home it will rest on my desk and share my other 17" LCD panel which should make for a nice desktop
... but I want a nice mouse / keyboard for use at those times also.
