i read in several places that the core is NOT backwards copatible...... prbly worth it to pay 100 more for the upped one anyways, wireless and doesnt need memory cards and maybe some other stuff......

i read the FAQ and it said that you need the harddrive or some memory unit.

he said that the xbox's that come with the harddrive have the software already loaded to play halo and halo 2 out of the box

to play the other games you have to either download the updates/

go to xbox.com and download the file then burn it to a cd or get the cd of xbox.com for free but pay shipping cost

wired controllers
only has cords controller and 360 unit in the box

upped one
built in 20gig? hard drive
wireless controllers
Console with Premium Chrome Finish
Xbox Live Headset (wireless)
Ethernet Cable
in the box has all of these PLUS comes with HD cables(instead of standard AV cables)

both are going to be great, but it looks better to have the upped one just because it doesnt need memory cards and has wireless controllers
