Putting a password lock on files or folders

Isn't there a way to do this? Do you have to download something off the internet? If so, could someone tell me where one might download this? I want to put a lock on a folder in my documents so other people in my home can't get in it and use the contents.

    Thanks,
    Pete

P.S. While the contents are private, no I am not downloading porn into this folder. Sorry to dissapoint anyone.

well if you are using XP then you have your own account, and all you have to do is set teh folder to not share wiht other users on the comp right?

i you're willing to spend around $20 you can put a password on just about anything, use downloads.com and search "folder security"

Make a new compressed folder, name it what you want it, add files, then go to FILE > Add A password, and enter your password.

            This is for XP users.
