so i caught the end of the movie Weird Science from the 90's (you young'uns probably haven't seen it) and realised that it very well could be the most impactful origin of the "o rly" "y rly" response. Seriously, it's when wyatt and ? go drop the girls off and lisa's talking to chett (the brother?). He says "oh really?" and she counters with the insightful "yeah really". Watch it the next time it's on USA, you'll understand.

At the school I attend there are sixty sixth graders. I always ridicule them.

The students in sixth grade are divided among three teachers and are taught my the same teacher over the course of the day. Students in both seven and eight grade have different teachers throughout the day for different subjects. The same as in a traditional high school or college.
