Sweet new games for PS2??

Well thanksgiving break is coming up for my buddy who's going to college in Fort Collins so he'll be coming home for over a week. We're looking to rent a game for a week to see if we can't whoop up on it and beat it. Problem is we've got no idea what good new games there are for the PS2.

Game must be:

Fun and/or Awesome, and 2 player (preferrably co-op)

Any suggestions would be great!

Star Wars Battlefront 2 - awesome game!

I got Conflict: Global Terror a week ago. It's a really fun game and the graphics are good too. It is also 2 player. There seem to be a pretty good deal of good new games out there. That call of duty 2 looks pretty good too.

i've been playing the warriors on xbox... i dont know if its for ps2 also, but it rocks and is co-op.

its not real new, but Burnout: Revenge

that was by far the best game i have played in a looooong time. that, and God of War, though thats a 1 player game

and Skife, they do make The Warriors for PS2! yay!

go get time splitters, future perfect. alot of fun to play co op or multi player
