Weird that just as I spend too much money getting my effing mag to shoot again, and this place gets ready for some rejuvenation. It's exciting!

While I am now technically an adult, I do still slightly miss my childhood days of AO Chat, trolling the fun conservatives and calling Thordic a jerk.

Yeah, Freedy 500 is correct. In Hong Kong, they classify anything that is able to deliver a projectile with a force more than 2 Joules as a firearm. A 68 cal paintball would have to be flying somewhere like 160 FPS or below to be legal here. Some people can probably throw a paintball faster then that. Airsoft, on the other hand, is legal because the plastic BBs they shoot are so light.

This is a total bummer.

Would this also go for .50 cal? To lazy to do the math.

I believe they have a law on the amount of joules to mass ratio. An average paintball excedes that ratio and is illegal. Not sure though.

Hey Hong Cong, how are you doing? I haven't heard from anyone other than Art in a long time. Ninetendo Rich passed away a year and a half ago. Massive heart attack.

I am doing fine. I moved back to Hong Kong in 95 and have been out of paintball (which is illegal here) since then. I have picked up airsoft here but it is nothing like paintball.

Sad to hear about Nintendo Rich. I hope the rest of the old CP are all OK.
