    I found a link but I'm not too sure if this link means I can or can't drive... It says that the policy covers those drivers, but does that mean they have to show up on the policy? Or are they just allowed even if they don't show up anywhere?

    What confuses me is that my mom's agent said I can't drive her car unless I'm mentioned as a part-time driver, or I have insurance of my own.

      In MI if they are a licensed driver residing with you you must notify the company - the company than has the choice to raise your rates or specifically exclude them as a driver on the policy.
