I'm battling with something far more intense than Gamestop.

He's called the devil, and our epic battle has been raging for centuries.

Let us band together and rid the world of all evils.

The battle will be long and arduous, the death tolls will shoot into the septillians, and if we lose, our souls will certainly be damned.

I wasn't really expecting that but they said that they had 200 ordered for the launch. I got called and told that I would not be getting my xbox until some time early next year. I got to reading some forums and it turns out that every gamestop got shorted about half their order.

I heard from a district manager of game stop that they had no idea how many they would get. They where never promised a certain amount. The game stop near my house did the same thing when doom 3 came out. They took more preorders then they could fill in the first shipment. However you could go down the street and pick it up at Frys.

That is why my friends and myself refuse to go shop there now. However look on the bright side, you where not fighting for the 4 xboxs every wallmart got.

if I am not mistaken how stuff goes at gamestop, it has been a while since I pre-ordered a game there (paid a game in full, and it got canceled and i never got a refund) but if there is an active contract saying that since you paid in full, their contract binds them to fofill it and by them not getting the X360 by their alloted time, you can file breach of contract agenst them.

you can go in and request that information about the aggreement and they have to give it to you (at least in this state and many others) and if it dosn't say anything like, "we can change anything we want to at anytime" B.S. you can demand it and if nothing comes of it you can file and have the coart order them to give it to you, and maybe get "damages" on top of that, expecily around christmas!

I'm just going on what I've been told by my numerous gamestops by me and what I've been reading on the web. Yah luckily I didn't have to fight for 4 xboxs at my wal-mart. I had to fight for 48 =D and I got the last premium.
