I've been wanting to make some animations or cartoons for sometime and now I decided to get into it. I've google it alot and asked some people I know about animation and the only thing I can come up with is Macromedia flash. Its a little spendy im not sure if thats exactly what i want, but if I had too i could fork out the money. Is there something cheaper and made just for making toons out there?

What kind of tunes are you trying to make, i mean animations on like TV and real "cartoons" the characters are typically done frame by frame, drawing by drawing... It doesnty matter I just want to get into it. Probably frames by frames which to my knowledge would be GIF animations which the software to is relatively cheap compared to others. So for that I would probably get GIF Animator 5.0. I think that if I start doing this and enjoy doing it I may buy this www.hash.com. but I would have to learn alot before I start doing 3D animations.If God was a fly would you kill it.Comment
