Ipod Video and Ipod Nano?

Well, today I plan on making a trip to the Apple store. I am intend on buying an Apple Ipod 30gig Video for myself, and an Apple Ipod 2gb Nano for my girl... I havent found any reviews on these yet, that actually analyze the product, because people think just because its made by apple it can't have problems...

So are these good choices? What should I know

by the way don't recommend me other player, I would just like to know the details about these...

i dunno how good a choice it is.... but i think in consumer reports or sumthin they did a review on the video and said battery was better than expeted, screen was amazingly sharp and comfortable to watch..... thats all i read...

when getting the nano. MAKE SURE YOU GET A CASE!!!!! I would suggest a leather one over the hard cover ones because the hard ones tend to scratch the ipods more easily...

Well this girl is already putting me out 220, And i only intended to spend like 150... I'll just encourage her to get a case... I have 550 to spend, so im scraping just to get a case for my Video...

Time magazine did a report on Apple a couple of weeks ago. According to them, you can't go wrong with any iPod that you buy. They had nothing but praise for the Video.

I'm looking for a SOFT thin case, nothing leather or hard, maybe that squishy neoprene stuff... not that gummy icky stuff... Would the apple store carry something like this?

And does the Apple store have any kinda deal where if you spend a certain amount you geta free gift? I think for 520 dollars I should atleast get a case or somethin

get the iriver.

Not only is it a better interface, they crash less and are less likely to break. I'd break that Nano in a heartbeat. The Nano's have a real problem with the screen. The iRiver is great... Windows based, so it can play any format Media PLayer 10 can play.. AND it has a built in FM tuner, along with being able to record at CD quality.

Anyone who buys the Nano for $50 cheaper than a video is silly.
Shell out the extra $$ for the video and picture abilities, as well as more storage space.
