so i was digging in my attic and i found my old dell laptop. smiley stickers and all. i forgot the password to it though, annyone know how i can find this one out? also would it be easier to erase the whole computer? how do i do that annyway?

Mmm, don't know about the really old Dells....
There is a jumper on the motherboard that if pulled off will take out the password. I would have to look in mine to see which on eit was. Mine is actually a desktop though so it may not be the same. -
this one is about 5 years old.
if i remember correctly it hasnt been touvhed in 2 years, and needs a power cord no matter what. one of the mouse (mice?) are brokes, as well as the right and left click key. the pad still works though. mabey i can get pics of it for kicks. lol.
