    New pickup!

My dad scored a new to him pickup today.

    White 2000 F-250 Powerstroke
    extended cab
    6 speed
    4x4
    142,000 miles

The thing is SICK... I love it!

He put it in 1st gear and the transfer case in 4-LO and it just creeped along. Lowest gear ratio I've ever witnessed in a factory pickup.

    WOOT.

      Lmao!

Just wait till I put some pics up!

The only body damage is a small small ding on the tailgate and then the rear bumper is dented a bit too. The bumper isn't anything we can't straighten out on the press though.

idk, if you live in colorado that might not be such a good deal. We used to live in Wyoming and the ranchers would use their trucks for a couple years then sell them cause they were worthless after so many hard miles on them... idk mabey thats not whats happening in this case
          good luck though
          nice all the same

              Kewl Long live the 7.3L

NOT a fan of them 6.0L at this time. Actually aint a fan of any of the new diesel pickups.

If i were buying new id probly buy a gasser as the new diesels just aint my fancy they all drive like gassers now (no low end to em) and the milage aint that mutch better anymore either. At least the old 6.9 and 7.3 and even the 7.3 Powerstrokes had a decent low end torqe curve to em and were built to WORK.

This one's got a drop in plastic bedliner, but I prefer rhino linings, they're tough as nails and if it gets screwed up then all you've gotta do is take it back to the rhino dealer and they'll touch it up for free.

Maxama10 - it looks like this one's been babied it's whole life. We got it in Pueblo Colorado, and that's a pretty big city area so most likely it's almost all highway miles.

                Noahyay - What year? Also I'm guessing it's a 4x4 since it's got 36's on it. I've got an 85 F-250 4x4 with the 6.9 diesel in it, but it's an auto.

                Anyways here's the promised pics.

I love those suicide rear doors...

engine shot. Not a very good pic because I wasn't up high enough.

Bear Claw - yeah I love these older Ford diesels. Like I said above in the post I've got an 85 with the 6.9, also you[ve probably seen pics of my 95 powerstroke as well. Gotta love em!

my aunt drives one of those. this last year when i went to idaho, my uncle gave me his old toyota tercel to drive atround the whole time i was there. but one day, it was getting dark, and i wanted to get to the lake before dusk, so my aunt let me use her truck. i'll tell you it sure drives a hell of a lot better than the tercel on those curvy, dirt, washboard roads.

tercel: pitted, cracked to hell windshield, old, slow, all suspension is shot.

                          truck > X10 tercels.

i cought some good catfish that night though.

Hey Rangers can be lots of fun! We've got an 85 ranger that's been to hell and back a few times already and we just keep thrashing it trying to break the damn thing.

My dad keeps saying that when it's on it's final leg he's going to drive it into the river, but if he does I'm going to drag it back out cause I've got some plans for it!

Also my mom's got a 2000 ranger. It's pretty sweet, but I think it's geared a little high. Oh well I guess that's what low range is for.

Actually befor i got my F250 i had a Ranger and too be honest i kinda miss it sometimes.

Was just a fun little truck that never seemed to give me any trouble. It worked when i needed it and hualed way over its limits on a few ocashions without any fuss just a great fun little truck. But the F250 is just more suited to my use.
