soooo my question is why would you listen to pantera...?

Dimebagg Darrel was one of the most talented and influential metal guitarists out there, and if you don't know why you would listen to pantera, then you probably have no business listening to them.

*edit - and from what I understand, he was an awesome guy too. I wish I got to meet him.

Dime died doing what he loved to do. No one gives a crap about what you think about Pantera and Damageplan.

Pantera rocked the hell like no other, same with Dimebag. He was and is one of the last remaining people who play guitar from their heart. Nothing can touch him or his legacy.

Fan or not, Dimebag was killed ruthlessly and should be given the proper respect.

        RIP

I was never a big fan of Pantera or Damageplan, but the ONLY reason I own albums buy damageplan or pantera is because of Dimebag. He was a great guitarist and he seemed to be a really awesome guy. My favorite 2 guitarists will always be Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman from Slayer, but Dimebag was awesome.

          RIP
