    Half Rim eyeglasses?

I need a new pair of eyeglasses and have been considering half rims....are these more flimsy than the full rim glasses? should I expect them to be more likely to break?

I've got a pair, and they are for flimsy, but mine are titanium, so I can bend them right back. had the lens pop out once, with a little work it went right back in.

Are you guys talking about these?

How can ladies love them? If I were a lady, I would prefer a man who lived without the need to wear ocular devices. What a foolish weakness!

I actually have a pair of half rim glasses. I wear contacts throught out the day but when I take them out i wear my glasses. I haven't had a problem with them for the year or so I've had them.

I wear half frame glasses if i dont wear my contacts. But they work just fune. I drop them more then enough times and nothing has broke yet. very easy to bend back if you fall alseep with them on or whatever might happen. Mine are made by Ralph Lauren. Ask your eye doctor about them, they are very nice.
