25 years later... RIP John Lennon

I won't stand for a Dimebagg Darrell memorial thread today without a John Lennon one. I'm listening through the White Album right now, and it's doing a fantastic job of chilling me out a little in the midst of finals week. I'm only sad that nobody else here has any other Beatles stuff, and all my music's at home.

Most of us here never got to experience The Beatles in person, but many of us can still appreciate Lennon's work, even so many years later. I don't really have anything else to say without sounding like too much of a moron.

I can't believe that the Dimebag thread is getting more responses than this one.

I was with this girl in 96 who was ahuge beatles fan and she turned me on to the beatles, but wings and john and yoko suck. I couldn't stand the yoko or john and yoko stuff. I didn't like anything by wings either.

John Lennon was murdered as part of a government conspiracy. His music was too revolutionary and he could lead the masses away from absolute government control like the pied piper led the rats. "They" feared what he could do, so "they" killed him.
