I friggin despise the Yankees they got Damon. Funny isnt it Johnny boy said he doesnt care about the money on May 1st. But he took a 52 million dollar deal from the yanks, I guess he couldnt live with 40 million.

Mets did the samething last year. Their pulling a '98 Florida Marlins. They are buying up a huge amount of good players win a series then dump all of them. And Florida has gotten rid of almost all the good players due to the fact they have to buy a new stadium HAHA!.

Phillies need to get in the move for a starting pitcher and a center fielder, I dont care if Jason "cop beater" Micheals is getting a new contract, It'd be nice to see some one YOUNG no more Veteran Kenny Lofton's playing center.

If you havent notice I'm a huge Phillies and Red Sox fan.

2: he signs with another team close to his home, like the Rangers

          3: he retires

rumor around town is he wants to play side by side with his son. My guess is if the son gets the call up you can bet roger will play. I can see Houston making it. FYI, because I am such a bad ***, I went to game 3 and 5 of the NLCS. I have never been to a louder game then those two. Email whatever over priced crap team is in your town to get ready for the "juice box," '06 is the year of the 'stros.

As a yankee fan, I dont like the Damon signing. I see him having a good year (.280-300 BA, 12 HR, and a hellva lot of runs scored) but I dont see him as a true yankee.

IF ( and its a HUGE if) their starting pitch stays somewhat healthy, they're going to win it all.

But, I am scared of the white sox. Super deep pitching, great middle of the line-up, and pretty good defensivily.

Shut up with this "true yankee" bull. The only true yankees are the ones who take money over everything else. Yankees suck.

They just got rid of El Duque (starter), Vizcaino (reliever), and a minor league outfielder for Javy Vazquez and 4m.

I don't know if that was a good trade or not. On paper, I'd probably take Vazquez over El Duque, but look how Vazquez tanked in the high pressure atmosphere of New York after the All Star break in 2004. There's going to be a lot expected of him, playing for the defending World Series champs.
