    mp3 ripping question

    OK, I am using Winamp Pro to rip my personal cds to MP3 for my iPod. I have the mp3 encoder plugin selected and a CBR of 192kbps --- I have one question though.

    What's the difference between STEREO and JOINT STEREO?

      Dude, just use i-tunes to rip your CD's. I know you're not a fan but it'll really save you some hassle. How much work are you willing to do to avoid i-tunes?

          He's not trying to avoid the hassle, just the fact that i tunes doesnt rip at the bitrate he wants.
