alrighty, so does anybody know how paypal works exactly? like every little thing that is envolved in getting money from one person and transfering it to another?

when you recieve money, you get an e-mail. does that mean that its automatically put into your account? or do you have to go through some process to completely get it?
i have an old paypal message, and i'm wondering if i need to keep it or anything of that sort. all i'v done to it is look at it. i assume i fully recieved the money. right?

also, when you send a payment, how long does it take for it to be recived by the party on the other end? i was expecting a payment a day or two ago, it was sent, and it is still not here. its not in my e-mail, or in my paypal history. where could it be?

when you get the email the money is already in your account.. however, to get it out of the internet account is a different story

PayPal works great...unless you have a problem. You may get tired oif the fees though if you have a premier account and use it often. I've used them for years and still do.

Now here is my horror story: PayPal all on their own, without any complaints filed from anyone, decided to freeze my account! They said because there were suspicious transactions continiously made from another user to myself with no evidence of shipping on PayPal. They also froze the account of the user sending me the money.

This really irked me because they did it for no good reason, the transaction although sizable in total, were still under the $10K mark in which the IRS gets interested. The shipping issues was stupid because let';s just pretend that everybody doesn't ship through PayPal! After explaining to PayPal that there were no shipments because I was selling information and that everything was legal they still insisted on more and more documentation, stuff they already had anyway! After a prolonged period of time I got so mad at them I used some rather rude language telling them what else they could do with my account and we would proceed from here on out in the courtroom. Within 24 hours my account and funds were unfrozen as were those of my clients. My former client has never spoken to me since...

I just wish there were some way to put cash into my PayPal account. I've been using it for some time to stash away funds (no, I'm not hiding money from my wife). I know I can transfer funds out of the checking account, but she can see those movements. I want to be able to send a money order or cash somewhere and have it show up in my PayPal account.

ive never had a problem with paypal except for they froze my account once ,, but i asked em to do it. there great besides the ghey 3% fees
