Stealing a normail "rural" mailbox is illegal, but not really a federal offense, unless there is mail in it. Mail theft is punishable by 5 years in a Federal penitentary. Ooooops.

Stealing a cluster box unit or apartment panel probably will result in federal charges.

i dont, mine got stolen and i know who did it. i thought i might want to teach them a lesson.
