Definately one of those movies where you just have to enjoy the scenery and ignore the lapses in logic, if possible. Gotta love Scarlett
IIRC they were developing genetic memory. Basically he was gaining the memories of the guy he was cloned from.

Don't knock disney. They've made incredible amounts of money off their movies in the years that they've been around. Need proof? Pirates of the Caribbean and Finding Nemo. That's not to mention how OLD Mickey and Minnie Mouse are, and taht they have >3 HUGE theme parks strategically placed around the world.

Pirates of the Carribean was pretty good, but without Johnny Depp it wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining.

And for every Finding Nemo they put out, theres a Valiant.

When you make as much money as Disney does, I'll listen to your arguments. Until then, I say they're doing something right.

So, then, no one on this forum is allowed to criticize any company at all, right? I mean, why should us plebes dare question the actions of some all-powerful corporation? The fact that I don't own, or run, a multi-billion dollar corporation means I'm not entitled to my opinion, I guess.

Er. Exactly. Bow down, please. Make sure your nose touches the ground.

Question all you want. I don't even like Disney movies for the most part--but that doesn't change the fact that I am a poor college student and they are a multi-billion dollar corporation. Or conglomerate. It's been a while since econ and I hated it anyway. They're rich and I'm not-- I have to assume that they're doing something economically correct.

Just because they are doing well doesn't mean they couldn't do better. Also, assuming that because they run the company they have more economic or movie sense is a mistake. Remember, those in power approved dogs like Stealth, Ishtar, Red Scorpion (look into the person who produced that one, you will laugh) Cobra, and Stop or My Mom Will Shoot.

And I was watching it at home.

My ADD ridden self thought the fight scene with the hand-lazer thing was worth it.
