What im really upset about here is a Mod that has time and time again put his .02 into political threads instead of shut them down. There is little reason to argue with him, look at other threads he has opened his mouth in. When someone steps up and shuts it for him he just resorts to name calling. I have a serious issue with him and believe he should NOT be a mod on these forums!

We Mods evaluate threads that may turn political/religeous/controversial with an open mind. When the thread remains civil and thoughtful, we have allowed them to continue and indeed have joined in, for we applaud mature and intelligent discussion.

Getting stupid about it, not only results in a closing of the thread, but a possible ban on those that consider themselves above the rules. If you have a "serious issue" with the way I enforce the forum rules, I encourage you to, please, inform the Webmaster of your concerns. I do not recall EVER calling anyone derogatory names (ie; Jerky, cock-bite, obnoxious prick, neo-con etc), can you post them here? I do point out the obvious in someones behavior/attitude though, and perhaps you percieve these as slights, rather than an honest evaluation of attitude.

To the point of this thread, I simply asked for proof of "60% BS". You however, decided that: my opinion is not worthy of being posted; I do not know anything; seems to have come from a closet homosexual; that I am some sort of dried, spiced meat product; and I am a lousy Mod because of some serious issue in your mind.

I will hold off on a ban, if you decide that your behavior and post was wrong, blatantly violated the forum rules, and was immature in nature. An apology to the forum would be welcome.

The rules only state that political threads tend to start flaming, but the strange thing is you seem to be doing most of the flaming. If we got rid of hardrock68 then the problem would be gone, because the mere presence of this thread has nothing to do with the flaming. Ok raw nerves all round by the tone of this so far, The show I am obviously not familiar with however judging from the replies so far it must be the sort of show that prompts reactions and so far they haven't been nice or mature. We have had many political threads go for several pages this isn't to be one of them.
