A burning mouse ran from a burning pile of leaves to the house to catch it on fire? Just how close was the pile of burning material? I bet his home owners insurance was covered for fire...

This guy is either really unlucky or really clever (arson, perhaps?).

In my long life of occasional bizarre occurances, I have seen burnt, and have burned animals (accidently----really----not kidding----mostly). Not once have I seen one live long enough to run around blazing away. In fact, the hair singes close and does NOT flare and flame continuously. Mice simply do not have enough hair to sustain a flame long enough to run across a yard, into a house, across a room, and burn long enough to set curtains on fire.

Hell, even Michael Jackson's hair flamed out moments after catching.

I call shenanigans on the old fellow. I think he made up the story to hide a boo-boo.

I don't know if I would have admitted to all that...(looks warily around for PETA activists) ....but am in agreement w/ you. I call shens as well.

I tied a piece of twine to it's tail first and then threw it into the flames and pulled it back out numerous times.

Army is correct mice just singe, they don't actually burn.
