What the heck is this 'Chuck Norris' stuff?

Yes, I know who he is.
Yes, I've read/seen posted a number of 'Chuck Norris roundhouse kick' type things.
Yes, Walker Texas Ranger was kinda big... about 6 years ago.

    My question is WHY?!

Its my age group/generation that watched his movies and that the TV series was probably aimed at. But this current manifestation, emphasis on 'festation', seems spawned from the 12-20 year old internet crowd. Yes its likely a fad that will die like the Macerena dance and drop forwards.

Who and where starting this? It's getting old quick, but only seemed to start about 3/4 months ago. And yes, there are parts that are funny the first time.

/Chuck Norris invented paintball by squeezing the zit of some soon to be dead punk and hitting another soon to die punk

Umm, I have no idea what you are talking about, but Chuck Norris was the first US born to reach 10th degree blackbelt in Tang-Soo-Do. That's pretty impressive. As bad as the Texas Ranger fight scenes were, he is one kick arse guy.

Some sites contain daily references to the guy. I think it's some random fad, which like the dancing hamsters, AYBABTU and other lame fads will fade into Internet obscurity.

Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

Aren't there about a few thousand other sites where that crap can be posted and leave it off here?

from entensity.net (good site for random net vids and stuff, but by no means is work safe)

i have not read all of them, but many of the ones i have are semi humerous. as to the origin, i have no idea.

I've seen the AYBABTU a few times and wonder what in flying hell it was. After a quick Google I see its just All Your Base. Yup, thats died pretty quick.

ORLY might stick a bit better.

the weird thing is, is that the "random facts" have been around for about 2 years. I don't understand how it became such a hit now.
who ever said "its not whether you win or lose..." probably lost.

The best part of that video clip is how the Cat is toying with a mouse, just like Bruce is toying with Shuck Norris.
