SO i think i FINALLY found and LCD

As the title says I stumbled upon this deal, is this the same that you have phaqgm?

the VA1912WS, Its a 19inch widescreen LCD but the thing that made me question was its resolution. It runs at 1440x940, wouldnt pictures on my screen appear to be compressed?? My current graphics card right now is an Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4200. I would hate to buy a new LCD and have black borders surrounding the whole damn thing.

Here is what I would do (I did not look at your link, but saw your other thread). I would go to www.cnet.com and type in LCD Monitor and see which they reviewed as the best one. They are the leader in techology reviews and information, and what they say is the best, is indeed the best. I would sort the results by rating, and then find the highest rated one in your price range.

I was curious, and this is what they say is the best for around 300$
    HERE

I actually have one of these sitting next to me, and they are nice. They offer good gaming response times, and can pivot, and even turn a whole 90 degree to become a vertical monitor. I don't know if that link is the 15 inch or bigger, but we have a 15 on one of our PCs and its nice.
IM SORRY AO FOR DISOBEYING YOUR SIG RULES!!!! FORGIVE ME!!!
