    Crappiest weekend ever

My awesome great uncle died, so I was involved with his wake Friday night and memorial service Saturday afternoon. Really painful and emotional and all that jazz.

My dad couldn't make the service on Saturday, because my Grandpa had to be rushed to the hospital. He isn't doing so hot and I just may be back for another funeral quite soon.

The Redskins got knocked out of the playoffs yesterday, and I really shouldn't be upset because they had a great run, but it certainly seemed to go well with the tone of the rest of the weekend.

After hardly seeing my wonderful girlfriend for the past week, I saw the crapfest of a movie Hostel with her last night, just in time for her to break up with me because apparently since she got back from school 5 weeks ago she was hiding the fact that she was sort of involved with somebody in Minnesota and never got closure and is feeling "confused" right now.

And today is the end of my winter break, so I get to scramble to pack and get lots of other stuff done in order to go back to the school that I absolutely despise for another semester.

There's the condensed version of why I feel like utter poopsock right now. I predict a full-fledged E/N coming on at some point. In the mean time, pictures of kittens and non-deceiving women and the like would be thoroughly appreciated.

    *sigh*

Screw her. Don't let her subject you to some sort of emotional terrorism just because she's "confused." I say you should never speak to her again, unless she comes back to you with an apology.

Well, nobody died but here is my weekend horror story:

My wife was away from home and her brother was supposed to be watching our dogs. Instead he managed to flood the upstairs (and subsequintly the downstairs) causing probably about $10K in damage.
