Kodak easy share problems, any body had these?

The only problem which is a big one, is that my pics that I upload to my comp seem to systematically delete themselves 10 minutes after I load them. Sent a few emails back and forth to the Kodak people and after a few tries of different people tellin me different things, they finally said to call them. Nice to finally have a digicam but to have this problem is too much.

uninstall easyshare. Go to www.kodak.com and get the latest version. Should work
      Let us know.

Thats mean man, the main reason I was pissed was because the pics were of my kids. That and it was annoying to no end.

I've got a Kodak camera as well, but I've never had that problem. If you were to copy all your pics from the folder that Easy Share sets up into a different folder as soon as you upload them, would that solve your problem?

              did the reinstall work?
              My pictures go to
Mypicutures- kodak pictures - then into folders my dates.

Does the camera have a memory card type of deal, or just built in memory? If it's got removable memory, get a reader for that and don't use the not-so-easy-share whatever.

been doing that since the first time it happened.

Monster, The reinstall stopped the deleting process, but I can't recover the lost pics. They are simply not there. Looked in the C: drive, searched, did all I could, but they aren't there.

Hexis, Yeah its got it's own memory. The system also came with a direct hook up from cam to comp. I think I'll start using that since I don't trust the system anymore.

Don't worry about it. I knew you were jacking with me. Bad part is I can see the damn thngs but it won't let me "see" them.

Oneworld, thanks man, glad to hear the problem can be fixed.

do you have windows xp if you can probably use system restore to recover the pics, just go back to before you were having problems and then burn them to a cd, assuming you can
