    HAHAHA! 12 MAN!

Told you fools, Carolina was gonna get shot the hell down.

Panthers even failed at stopping the drives. They make the Seahawks punt a couple times, but I already figured they'd do that. The coverage on smith was already expected, and their running game was stopped in their tracks. THE ONLY TIME SMITH HAD A GOOD PLAY WAS ON A GOD DAMN SPECIAL TEAMS PLAY. Seattle clowned on Carolina, period.

Now I'm just afraid of the steelers... hahahaha

I just want to know, what do you despise about Seattle? It is my home town after all... (I promise I won't get offended, I'm just curious.) It's not like we buy our championships... hell this is the first superbowl we've made it to. All we do is choke under pressure, but this year we stopped choking.

We also have the #1 WR in the NFL....Steve Smith. He lead the nfl in receptions, yards, yac, and receiving TDs.
Carolina has no offense (at least against Seattle)

I don't care for Seattle especially. I'm glad they won because I didn't like the thought of having to devote Polmau (sp) to double coverage of Smith. I think with Seattle there are better match ups for Pittsburgh. I'd like to see Bettis win it.

before the games started on sunday i told my boyfriend that I wanted seattle and pittsburgh to go only because I knew one of the POG guys was from seattle...Thought it would make for some fun bantering...
he then asked for a "spred" on the pittsburgh denver game, I came up with 32/21 just off the top of my head... I wasnt to terribly far off..

I am just excited to see what it is like to live in a town that is going to the Super bowl.. I think this might be fun... Not to mention that it is all in the name so GO STEELERS!!

I want the Seahawks to take the Superbowl but I also don't watch enough football to make an educated decision on who the winner will be..so in that case..Seahawk's are going to win the Superbowl!! (Seattle is my hometown )

But I do have my fears for the superbowl, the Seahawks are gonna have a hell of a time trying to shoot it out with the Steelers.

Alexander has been shut down in the past, as good as the Steelers coaching staff is you know they are already looking at film on how to do it. Hasselback is good but the Steelers secondary (there entire defense) is top notch. I doubt they can do to Hasselback what they did to Jake, and he is far more mobile than Manning was. But even Kitna when he was playing exceptionally well in the first half did not seem to be up to a level he could shoot it out with them. Remember Cowher (sp) up by more than 11 points going into the fourth quarter is 101-1-1. If a team is forced to pass against them they can destroy them. I'm just don't think, with Palmoeu (sp) fading towards the center of the field Alexanders "bouncey" style of running around the edges is going to work.

Any RB in the league can be shutdown. Pitt has speed and power in the LB crew, but if there's any offensive line that can create holes regardless of the other team's front seven it would be Seattle.

You're giving Pitt way too much created for the DB crew. If there's anything they can't defend it's the long ball. Their success against the pass is strictly dictated by how well the front seven does pressuring the QB and containing the screen/crossing routes that the QB can throw quickly.

Basically Seattle's O-Line will be able to dictate the outcome of this game. If they block for Hasselback and Alexander, they will win.

As die-hard of Pats fan as I am, I think this will be a great SuperBowl.

The one thing I'm glad to say is Manning once again choked in the playoffs.

They were able to defend Harrison and Johnson pretty well... granted a lot of it was through pressure on the QB but its not like Indies offensive line is the worst in the league or something. I don't see anyone as good as either of those wide receivers on the Seattle roster.

I'm rootin' for the Steelers, not because I'm a fan, but because I'm living in Washington right now and it'll really piss the people off at work... Most of them aren't originally from Washington anyway, but will jump on a bandwagon at the drop of a hat. Guess that makes me a real-life troll!
