I have an airsoft version. With that I can only tell you about how it feels since it's a 1:1 scale. But for me it shoulders very nicely and is just over all very nice. It is actually very short for being an assult rifle. smaller then an ak, m4, aug, and an mp5 (with stock extended)... but those are what my friends have so it's all I can compare it to. Sorry I cant go into the real version but I hope you can get something out if it. -
They are very rare in the US. The FAMAS is supposed to be a decent weapon, but really doesn't offer a lot over the M16, G36, or any other modern assault rifle. The whole bullpup thing is overrated anyways. Just look at that POS L85 the Brits got stuck with.Comment

Just because the L85 sucks doesnt mean bullpups in general are bad. Im a big fan of the concept, though Ive never shot a FAMAS. Definitely wouldnt mind having one, though Id prefer it having a picatinny rail instead of a gargantuan carrying handle.Kosmo For President '08, '12, '16... However long it takes

"Le Trumpet" is a POS as far as ergonomics is concerned. With the pistol grip so centered, the recoil is abrupt and muzzle rise is excessive. Very short sight radius too, makes long shots iffy.
I'll still take my M16.

Having said that, I had the extreme pleasure to shoot a brand new Styer AUG, and I must say that it was one of the sweetest toys I have ever played with. Shouldered very nicely, and was very, very easy to keep on target during rapid fire. It reminded me of a big MP5.

AUG is from what I heard a very nice gun, although my buddy that shot it said the only problem was the ambidextrous clip release was a pain for anyone lefty or rightGirls are no substatute of paintball
