I don't think SuperPi would take advantage of Hyperthreading though. Is it a pentium D?Originally posted by slade
that was all with a few firefox windows open, and winamp playing. i looked at the CPU useage and it was around 55%, superpi taking up around 49%... i take it thats because its a P4 with hyper-threading?Gun: AGD eMag with LvL10

P4 630 3GHz w/ hyper-threading, 800 MHz FSB.Originally posted by RapidTransitI don't think SuperPi would take advantage of Hyperthreading though. Is it a pentium D?
thats what i was saying, i was wondering why it only used 40-50% of the processing power, and never topped the 50% mark.Comment

I wonder if your OS is trying to keep the load off the CPU, try setting the Utilization to high.Originally posted by sladeP4 630 3GHz w/ hyper-threading, 800 MHz FSB.
