crazy school parking lot what to do

ok. there are more accidents in this parking lot then a busy freeway.

it didnt bug me till the other day. i figure sure. just some stupid drivers not paying attention.. till i was in one there.


it started monday after school. my freind got a new laberrin(new to him) and i wanted a ride of coarse. we pulled around a corner where we couldnt see much because there was a car in the way.. keep in mind this part where were turning on to is narrow. so as we pull out a truck comes around the corner. couldnt see us we coulddnt see him.. and BAM smashed into us.. and i want to take something up about these school parking lots. yeild sighns. stop sighn. maybe a wider path for 2 cars. and i dont know who to talk to about this.. school . city.. not sure

My advice is that teenagers should learn how to drive...
Seriously though, it's a catch-22. How do you get experience driving without driving?
That stuff happened in my school parking lot, and probably happens in a thousand others...
I'm pretty sure they are aware of the problem at your school, and yeah, a 3 or 4 way stop might help, but there are lots of factors to consider. Even if a car was in your friends way, it was still his responsibility to make sure the coast was clear before pulling out. Now obviously, I don't have all the facts so don't take this the wrong way, but I'd be willing to bet that a more seasoned driver would not have caused an accident there...

while walking to my car about a month ago i saw a girl who is in one of my classes standing around, and two girls in letter jackets also standing around... and then i saw her car up on the curb, smashed in. the other car (SUV) was a bit smashed up too. how fast were they driving in the parking lot? . naturally, i blame this on the girls in the letter jackets.

It definitely wasn't his fault. I talked to Wyatt(kid with the Cummings)
He was in the fire lane and had the right of way. I also talked to your friend. He over-exaggerated everything

I think they finally decided the fault wasn't on either of the kids.

Just for the record, that would have been one sweet wreck to watch.

I don't see how it was the trucks fault if he wasn't the one entering traffic unless he was speeding. As for the accidents get a whole bunch of people to whine to them about putting a stop sign there or lowering the speed limit not that the school will actually listen to you until the superintedents car gets smacked up.

just drive a monster truck. some of the hick kids at my school lifted their trucks and put big tires on because they like romping, and they were tired of all the dents on their bumpers.

To avoid accidents at a school. Don't drive, take a bus, don't park in the schools lot. In high school there was all sorts of accidents in the student lot. It is inevitable. Drive there at your own risk.

ya expect to get digs and dents at school cause most people drive pos cars and really dont care. plus everyone thinks there car is a hot rod and drive stupid, just open your eyes and you'll usually be ok

that really depends... one day i parked between a mustang and lexus. a friend of mine has her own car and she still has her permit, another friend has a SUV with GPS in it.

Solution: Don't park where you know there's going to be traffic problems. If you HAVE to park there, be the biggest asshat possible! I don't know how I survived in the school parking lot being the nice guy. So many people almost killed me car everyday.

do all schools have parking lot nazis? like someone the school hires to drive around the lot all day and ticket people without parking passes? I feel it's a waste of tax payers money to pay someone to sit in a parking lot all day and ticket people for not having their parking passes.
