has anyone else seen the commercials for that show coming to FX where they take a white family and make them look black, and then take a black family and make them look white?
frankly i have no clue what type of show it will be... most likely some random reality with the families saying " oh my, i never realized this and this happened to so and so"

but do you guys think a show like this will last? and who here would actually watch it?

ya there was actually a book about going black that a white reporter did in the 60s. he went around the south to show how the blacks were treated. i cant remember what it was called, i read it like 4 years ago but it was really good.

yea but's that when racism and black rights were all going on, nowadays racism isn't as prevelent, I find this show to be a very stupid idea. They are only broadcasting it for the zOmg how could they put it on tv type thing, than an actual real show.

ya thats what it is, thanks. and oh ya racism is still fairly prevalent but not as drastically as it has been before. but i think politics come more into play with todays racism, people are just all sue happy and they play the whole hate crime thing. there was a family living near my and someone threw a cig but out the window and burnt like a 4 ft sized spot on their lawn. well the family sued and claimed a hate crime and they now have a new pool. i think its retarded but thats just how the legal system works nowadays.
